Meet Colleen Maher

Couch Potato to National Champion in 3 years.


Colleen Maher is an endurance off-road cyclist based out of North Carolina, USA.


In 2021, she was a Couch Potato and got her first bike. In September 2024, Colleen won the USA Cycling Gravel National Championships and became the Women's Amateur Gravel National Champion.


Colleen won the Highlands Gravel Classic in 2024. This is event is part of the UCI Gravel World Series. It is the only UCI Gravel World Champions Qualifier in the United States and only one of two in North America. By finishing on the top step of the podium, she secured her spot to race in the 2024 UCI Gravel World Championship in Belgium. She went on the race the UCI World Championships in October 2024 and finished as the fastest 19-34 American Women.


She has placed second in the USA Cycling Gran Fondo National Championships and raced some of the largest gravel/off-road races in the Elite field such as BWR NC, SBT GRVL, Southern Cross, Mid South, and Unbound.
